Most reptiles and amphibians are insectivores. In captivity, they often lack the huge range of different food species that they depend on in the wild. This reduction of the nutrition spectrum often results in (qualitative) malnutrition in captivity.

The nutritional value of an insect is highly dependent on what that insect itself ate. Obviously, a cricket that ate high quality food will be a much healthier snack for your pet than a cricket that has been starved for days in a box on the shelf and has a stomach full of paper! To increase the content of a prey insect, we have developed several products;

-Krekelgel provides a safe and non-fauling source of water for your crickets. The gel-crystals contain water that is easily available to the crickets and also contains calcium (gut-loading). More info
